so unit 3 has started, and it seems like all i do is type type type on the computer or write write write in my notebook about guess what???? the prison world.
yes, it is highy interesting, and yes i’m glad i now know all this stuff, but the amount of computer time is making me freaked out. it is 85 degrees out, sunny, and i’m on the computer all the time. doing this class. and honestly the material is it so depressing. our prison system is so messed up, i really don’t know how it continues. i really don’t.
through this class, i see the deviant as a human, which is such theory....
i wish i knew somone at a jail or somthing, so i could go take a trip and see it all. and then after seeing all the deviants, then perphaps i would not sound like such an idealist in my writing. i tend to debase the american pubic all the time as well, they as a general voice, really are making the prison system a pain in the ass to get anything going.
by the way, incarceration as a general thing, does not work, the inmate has to have programs and empowerment to achieve to be a better returing citizen.

Hi! I finally made it here and I read your Food and Wine Festival article - I enjoyed it. You covered a lot, both of events and issues, in a relatively small amount of space.
You have really made me want to go next year.
